It is not perfect. the greatest gripe is that I actually can tell that the particular original screenplay was re-written. Now, as a kid could I tell this specific? NO, and that is the primary audience. I think adults forget whenever they watch a movie mostly targeted to children that it will not totally charm to them. Now, a few exceptions to my enjoyment of children's films is the new terrible 2018 Grinch, which was so bad I could tell actually the children were not entertained and I actually walked out of theatre, this coming from an adult whom enjoys children's movies. The problem using the Addams Family, lies in the two major plots, that of Margeaux, and that regarding Wednesday, the former feels fixed, and the latter really does not...
